Bunny Dies for the Easter Bunny's Visit

Image

"Cole's Easter Basket" by Paije Potter - Pattern #601

Our little ones don't ever see the magical visit from the Easter Bunny, but that doesn't mean you can't show bunnies on your layouts!

Try using the Bunny Hop Border Die Set for your Easter morning photos. Little bunnies on your layout will go a long way in telling the whole story of your Easter Basket photos. Try using one of the die cut bunnies as a placeholder for the '0' in the year 2022 like Paije did above for 2009.

Another quick tip is to take your Easter morning photos outside if the weather is nice. The morning light is fantastic for photos, and the outside makes a great setting for your pics. You might find a great plain background like the deck and woods above to keep your focus on your subjects. Or you might have flowers for extra interest and color in your shots.

This Layout Features: 12x12 Charity grid paper from the Happiness Collection, Bunny Hop Border Die set, Numbers 2 Die Set, Layering Die Bundle, and the Basic Die Bundle

Use Spring Paper to Add to Your Easter Embellishment

"Jones Easter 2018" by Lauren Jones - Pattern #387

You can wrap spring floral patterned paper around the Basket die in the center of your Easter Egg Hunt photos.

Lauren made her flower paper look a lot like our Mosaic Moments Strip Frame dies.  (She might want to use them on her second page if this was a two page Easter spread.) The floral patterned paper makes a nice frame for the cute Easter Basket Cornerstone that might have gotten lost because of the busy photos.

Patterned paper is an easy way to enlarge your focal spot, and a great addition to your Easter page.

Try Unexpected Dies for Easter Layouts

"Egg Hunt" by Paije Potter - Pattern #470

The Vibes Dies make great groovy pages - have you ever thought to use them on an Easter Egg Hunt layout?

The Vibes die may seem like an unexpected choice, but after seeing this layout you'll think differently. Paije filled them with bright floral pattern paper. For the outlines she used white card-stock to match the white background of the floral paper. She added little gems to the center of the Vibes dies and they look like spring flowers!

There are many dies that can be dressed up for Easter layouts - see what will work from your stash!

This Layout Featues: 12x12 Daytime grid paper from Ombré Collection, Vibes Outline 2x4 Die, Vibes Outline 2x2 Die, Layering Die Bundle,  and the Basic Die Bundle. Pattern paper from Jillibean Soup™.

Use a Column Pattern for on Your Easter Page

Image

"Easter Hunt 2021" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #689

At first glance, Pattern #689 may not seem like a column pattern, but it does create two large columns on this page.

These two columns make a professional designed Easter Layout. It gives you two large vertical photo spaces for Easter portraits. Then you have two 3x3 spots for egg hunting pictures. If you don't have that many photos, add two cornerstones, like Jodi did above with the Butterfly Dies.

We love how she filled the butterflies to match the ombre grid, Dawn.

This Layout Features: 12x12 Dawn Grid Paper from Ombré Collection, Butterfly Die, the Layering Die Bundle, and the Basic Die Bundle. Pattern paper from Doodlebug Design™.

Make a Unique Mosaic for Your Easter Family Portrait

"Easter Sunday" by Jodi Benson

A large mosaic makes the best Easter portrait layout!

Jodi used the Corner Strips to make a one page layout of an Easter family portrait. You can use patterned paper with flowers and bunnies or floral photos or even both like you see above. Jodi placed the daffodil photos around the page, and put patterned paper in between them. Look around the patterned paper section, and you will find four sweet bunnies 🙂

This layout shows the Mosaic Magic where you trick your eyes to believe it all comes from one large photo. The reality is Jodi used a few 4x6 Daffodil photos!

This Layout Features: 12x12 Plum Grid Paper from Fresh N Fruity Collection, Corner Strips Die, and Corner Connector die. Pattern paper from Craft Consortium™.

Mix Up Your Dies for Easter

"Bunnies" by Candy Spiegel - Pattern #385

Candy used three dies: Charmed, Going in Circles, and Pinwheels together on one spread!

She used the same pink colored card-stock, and the same pattern paper for the background of her dies. Because of that, they all coordinate nicely for this fun and sweet Easter bunny layout. Candy added cute Easter bunny and chick stickers to her focal point and it's perfect.

What die combinations will you find for your Easter layouts?

This Layout Features: 12x12 Violet Grid Paper, Charmed 4x6 Die, Going in Circles Die, Four Pinwheels Die, and the Basic Die Bundle.  Pattern paper from Creative Memories™.
