Ways to highlight your photos and journaling
Featuring the Circle and Scallop Frames dies
Put a frame around it! These small frames make a delightful way to show off smaller photos or highlight a little information. I had several photos of the various wandering critters through our campsite that were perfect to fill in the 2×2 blocks.
The dark green paper tiles I used for the frames were good to balance the greens in the photos. I also cut the scallop frames in black to use in the inner frame to draw our attention to the photo and words.
Filling a full row of 2×2’s across the middle creates a lot of interest. The larger top and bottom rows of photos are mounted on the 12×12 Sandstone base grid with black mats and accents that tie in nicely with the first page featured last week (Chess Club) or stands alone too.
Supplies:
• MM Dark Green paper tiles for tiles and cornerstones
• MM 12×12 Grid Paper Sandstone
• MM Die Sets A B C and Circle & Scallop Frames

You might like to try layering the dies or experimenting with various colors on your next layout! To be sure, we’ll be trying a few more ideas to ‘put a frame around it’ in the coming days!
