Designing with the Sunflower Die Sets

Featuring the sunflower 2×2 and borders die sets
Schoenbrunn Village

We’ve got a sneak peak of a brand new set of dies you’ll want to add to your collection. These Sunflower die sets add a nice touch to my rustic layout and there are so many options to use them.

The sunflower dies come in a 2×2, 1×1, 1×2, 1×3 and 1×4 sizes.

I’ve chosen the Cabin Wood 12×12 Mosaic Moments Grid Paper from the Lazy Days Collection for the log cabins in the Schoenbrunn Village of the Moravian Missionaries. This settlement established in 1772, is where the first church in Ohio was built and nearly 400 Delaware Native American Christians and Moravian missionaries lived in peace. I thought the colors and texture worked well as a backdrop for the cabins and grounds.

Mosaic Moments Pattern #394

I selected Pattern #394 to accommodate all my horizontal photos and have a couple of 2×2’s and 1×2’s for the Sunflower dies.

I’ve used Robin’s Egg paper tiles to cut out my dies because it blends nicely with the blue shades in the wood, and I have backed them with Sunflower paper tiles and die cut brown paper centers. For a few journaling comments gray 1×2 paper tiles flanking my center photo in the center row balance things out.

You will find that the sunflower die sets cut out all the small pieces nice and neatly and are very easy to use. It’s fall and the sunflowers have been in bloom, why not fill a page with photos to go with the dies?
